Wang is Director of Neuroapoptosis Drug Discovery Laboratory, Department of Neurosurgery, Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Wang received her PhD from Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She did her postdoctoral training at University of Michigan and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Wang has published about 70 peer-reviewed articles and has served as the Guest Editor, Handling Editor, and Editorial Board Member for a number of peer-reviewed journals, as well as the scientist reviewer for institutes or foundations including NIH, DOD, BSF, and others, and invited reviewer for 30 peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. DeFeo is noted as one of the leading experts of the DSM-5 in the State of California. She has conducted over 50 state, national, and international trainings on the topic. Dr. DeFeo was the highlighted presenter at the 18th Annual Inter-national Violence, Abuse, and Trauma Conference (IVAT) in San Diego in September, 2013, the 18th Annual IVAT Conference in Honolulu, Hawaii in March, 2014, and the Illinois American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy Annual Conference in Naperville, Illinois to conduct a full 7 hour workshop to educate Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, Psychiatrists, and Medical Doctors/Professionals on the DSM-5 and ICD-10 diagnostic systems. Dr. DeFeo’s DSM-5 and ICD-10 training is also an approved accredited workshop with the Association for Advanced Training in the Behavioral Sciences (AATBS) to train social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, medical physicians, and marriage and family therapists in the United States. Additionally, Dr. DeFeo is working with the Mexican Board of Professionals to institute the DSM-5 into the Mexican Higher Education Institutions, and has presented this topic at the First Annual Psychological Society Conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina in October, 2014 and various locations in Mexico (Tijuana, Ensenada, and Mexicali). Dr. DeFeo presently is a California licensed psychologist, distinguished professor of psychology, and Interim Associate Chair for the Department of Marriage and Family Therapy at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Irvine, California where she has been working since 2010. Dr. DeFeo also is a senior reviewer and editor for the Journal of Psychiatry, OMICS, and the Journal of Hispanic Higher Education.

Dr. George Perry is currently the dean of the College of Sciences and professor of biology at the University of Texas at San Antonio. After graduation in Zoology from University of California, Santa Barbara, he headed to Scripps Institution of Oceanography and also studied at Hopkins Marine Station of Stanford University and the Marine Biological Laboratory of Woods Hole and obtained his PhD in Marine Biology in 1979. Dr. Perry joined the faculty of Case Western Reserve University in 1995, where he currently holds an adjunct appointment. He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences, Microscopy Society of America, Royal Society of Medicine, Royal Society of Chemistry, Society of Biology and the Linnean Society and past-president of the American Association of Neuropathologists. He has been elected member of the Spanish Royal Academy of Sciences, Mexican Academy of Sciences and Academy of Sciences Lisbon; Iberoamerican Molecular Biology Organization, Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives and won the Distinguished Professional Mentor Award from the Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science, Senior Investigator Award from the International College of Geriatric psychoneuropharmacology, Senior Fulbright Fellow and the National Honor Plaque of Panama for exceptional contributions to Neuroscience. Dr. Perry is on Board of the National Organization of Portuguese Americans and serves as Director of Education and Research.

Guy H Fontaine has made 15 original contributions at the inception of pacemakers since early 60s. He has serendipitously identified Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Dysplasia in the late 70s. He has published more than 900 scientific papers including 201 book chapters. He was the reviewer of 17 journals in Clinical and Basic Science. He served during 5 years as a Member of the Editorial Board of Circulation. He has been invited to give 11 master lectures of 90 minutes each during three weeks in the top universities of China (2014).

Currently I am working as Research Scientist in the Department of Neurology at University of Iowa, Iowa, USA. I did my B.Sc. (Chemistry) in 2003, M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) in 2005 from Aligarh Muslim University and Ph.D. (Toxicology) in 2009 from the department of Toxicology, Hamdard University, Delhi, India. After completion of my Ph.D. program, I have joined the Department of Internal medicine as postdoctoral Research Associate. Here I focused my research on understanding the role of plasma glycoprotein von Willebrand factor (VWF) and VWF-cleaving protease ADAMTS13 in animal model of stroke. After that I joined the department of Neurology as an Associate Scientist. Here my research investigates the molecular mechanisms that regulate inflammation in the central nervous system that are critical to our understanding of a broad spectrum of neurodegenerative diseases, including Parkinson’s disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis and traumatic brain injury. I am the member of several international societies and enlisted in the Editorial board of the journal.I have published almost 40 peer reviewed original research publications and almost 50 abstracts in National and International Neuroscience-related meeting and conferences.

Professor WK Tang was appointed to professor in the Department of Psychiatry, the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011. Professor Tang completed his medical training at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He joined the Chinese University of Hong Kong as an academic staff since 1999. His main research area is Neuropsychiatry in Stroke. Professor Tang has published over 100 papers in renowned journals, and has also contributed to the peer review of 40 journals. He has secured over 20 major competitive research grants. He has served the editorial boards of five scientific journals. He was also a recipient of the Young Researcher Award in 2007, awarded by the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Kurt A Jellinger, born 1931 in Vienna, is Professor of Neurology and Neuropathology at the Medical University of Vienna (Vienna, Austria), was director of the Department of Neurology, Lainz Hospital in Vienna and since 2002, director of the Institute of Clinical Neurobiology (Vienna, Austria). He has been the recipient of numerous international grants and awards, is a member of numerous national and international scientific societies, editor of many international journals of neurology, neuroscience and neuropathology. His publication records exceeds 1,000 in perr-reviewed journals, 170 contributions in scientific book, inclduding several as editor, as well as 1.300 lectures at international meetings. For the last 50 years, his research included many fields of clinical neuropathology, neurochemistry and descriptive neurobiology.
